babies and toddlers outgrow things in weeks. a walker, a sleep pod, a box of wooden blocks — used briefly, then stored for years. this library keeps those things moving instead.
i am the mother of a toddler, and we are lucky to be surrounded by generous family and friends. the idea for this small home library came while we were thinking about having a second child.
over time, i kept a selection of toys and books that we genuinely loved — things that worked especially well for a particular age, stage or interest. they were chosen carefully, played with often and kept because they felt worth sharing.
toys are made to be played with, not left waiting in a box. for now, i would love to keep ours busy while they are still part of our home, used and loved before they eventually leave our family. invited families can borrow them, enjoy them for a while and return them for the next child.
this is not a shop or a rental service. it is a small, private home library built around sharing, care and the idea that a good toy can be part of more than one childhood.
